Job Description

• Design, install, configure and maintain the network equipment and network security infrastructure.
• Ensure the availability, integrity, security and good performance of the network infrastructure
• Perform incidents resolution and follow-up, problems identification and analysis
• Operate day-to-day network infrastructure operations
• Participate in continuous improvement of the overall production environment and write appropriate guidelines where required
• Keep a high level of technical awareness within the assigned area of responsibility
• Participate to IT Services and Transformation related projects
• Occasionally provide an administrative support in the scope of the activity

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in the field of cybersecurity engineering and implementation of ICT and networking systems
• Strong knowledge of information security systems engineering principles
• Strong knowledge with network traffic flows and the configuration of networking equipment
• Strong knowledge with security principles and methods as well as with the configuration of firewalls
• Good knowledge of security architecture concepts and enterprise architecture reference models
• Familiar with Windows and Linux operating system, virtualization systems
• Demonstrate knowledge in TCP/IP, Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) and Wireless networks (Wifi)
• Demonstrate knowledge in Firewall and Virtual Private Network (VPN) administration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to think criticall
• Innovative spirit and interest in new technologies to support innovative projects
• Can handle multiple projects and leads simultaneously, business-oriented
• Communicates complex information, concepts, or ideas in a confident and well-organized manner through verbal, written, and/or visual means
• Able to apply cybersecurity and privacy principles to organizational requirements (relevant to confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, non-repudiation)
• Able to identify critical infrastructure systems with information communication technology
• Accept to be part of the IT On-Duty Team
• Show good communication skills in English as well as skills in French

Desired or to be acquired criteria:

• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills.
• Have knowledge of: Cisco IOS, NexOS, ASA/PIX and WiFi
