About the Role

Predict.fun is looking for a Markets Operator to help launch and manage the markets we offer. You’ll help draft, review and manage new markets, and also identify promising events that are appealing to users.

In this role, you’ll have the chance to shape the topics that people forecast.

What You’ll Do

Market creation and review

The majority of your work will involve writing tight rules and reviewing market rules to anticipate possible issues, inconsistencies and edge cases. Market wording is fundamental to good trader UX, and you’ll be a core contributor to making sure our markets are crystal clear to traders.

Research and discovery

Surface trending events and help turn them into markets. This requires the ability to quickly pick up the signal amid the noise, as well as being able to quickly structure a market that is coherent, solid and appealing to users.

What We’re Looking For

• Highly proficient in English. You must be able to write concise rules that cover all the key details while remaining legible.

• Strong analytical skills. Being able to drill into market rules to spot potential problems and prevent.

• Willingness to explore new topics. You’ll frequently have to assist with novel or unfamiliar topics, which will require you to quickly learn the key facts.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with prediction markets, especially around how rules and resolution work.

• Attention to detail.
