EVG is looking for an Analyst, Capital Markets!
Everest Ventures Group (EVG) is a venture studio that focuses on the paradigm-shifting opportunities of digital assets and blockchain technologies backed by a consortium of renowned Asian conglomerates, family offices, and business leaders. We are a team of serial entrepreneurs, VCs, and financiers in their 20s & 30s, with venture partners and sister companies on both sides of the Pacific. Kikitrade, Aspen Digital, Vibra are the 3 incubated crypto projects under EVG.
As an Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting research on prospective investment opportunities and staying up-to-date with the latest trends in blockchain technology. A strong understanding of crypto and blockchain technologies such as DeFi, NFTs, smart contract protocols, and the Web 3.0 ecosystem is a plus for this role.
Responsibilities
● Assist in the preparation of documents to facilitate the fundraising process of the group’s incubations, including but not limited to presentation decks, data room setup, financial projections and business proposals
● Maintain investor relationships and act as the key contact point in handling investor inquiries
● Conduct research on the capital market activity and present Web 3 investment trends to the company's leadership team
● Liaise with internal stakeholders, venture capital partners and institutional investors
● Handle any ad-hoc projects as assigned
Requirements
● Degree holder in Finance, Business or relevant disciplines
● Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in investment banks, brokerage firms, institutional investors, financial background
● Relevant working experience in fundraising/investor relations/venture capital is a plus;
● Relevant working experience in Web 3 industry is a plus.
● Strong investment analytical skills
● Presentable and motivated with strong can-do attitude keen to work in a face-paced top tier platform
● Proactive, energetic, and able to work independently
● Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese) is a must
This position is full-time and will be working in Hong Kong. Pay will be competitive and based on talent and experience.
