BNB Chain is establishing a dedicated tokenization function to position the network as the leading public blockchain infrastructure for institutional real-world asset issuance. The Head of Tokenization will own BNB Chain's RWA strategy end to end — from designing the technical and compliance frameworks that enable regulated asset issuance, to building the institutional partnerships and regulatory relationships that bring major asset managers, banks, and government entities onto the network. This is a senior, externally facing leadership role requiring deep fluency in both traditional finance and on-chain infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Define and own BNB Chain's tokenization strategy — identifying the highest-priority asset classes, issuer segments, and regulatory jurisdictions for RWA deployment on the network

• Design and oversee the end-to-end tokenization framework for real-world assets on BNB Chain, covering technical architecture, compliance infrastructure, KYC/AML integration, and lifecycle management for tokenised instruments

• Lead the origination and structuring of tokenization partnerships with asset managers, banks, custodians, transfer agents, and government entities looking to issue regulated digital assets on BNB Chain

• Serve as the Foundation's primary institutional relationship owner for RWA issuers — engaging C-suite and investment management leadership at major financial institutions

• Build and maintain active relationships with regulators, policymakers, and government bodies across key jurisdictions to ensure BNB Chain's tokenization infrastructure is aligned with evolving regulatory frameworks

• Represent BNB Chain in industry working groups, regulatory consultations, and institutional forums covering tokenization standards, digital securities regulation, and RWA market structure

• Work closely with product and engineering teams to translate institutional requirements into on-chain infrastructure — ensuring BNB Chain's token standards, compliance tooling, and settlement mechanisms meet the operational needs of regulated issuers

• Track and assess the tokenization strategies of competing blockchain networks and traditional financial market infrastructure providers, identifying differentiation opportunities for BNB Chain

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a leadership role at a traditional financial institution — asset management, investment banking, securities services, or financial market infrastructure

• Demonstrated hands-on experience designing and executing tokenization programmes for real-world assets, including money market funds, government securities, T-bills, private credit, or other regulated instruments

• Deep understanding of the compliance, legal, and operational requirements for regulated asset issuance — including securities law, transfer agency, custody frameworks, and KYC/AML obligations across major jurisdictions

• Established network within the RWA regulatory landscape — including relationships with SEC, CFTC, MAS, FCA, or equivalent regulatory bodies, and familiarity with active legislative processes governing digital securities

• Experience working directly with government entities or sovereign institutions on digital asset or financial infrastructure initiatives is a strong advantage

• Credible relationships with senior decision-makers at major asset managers, banks, custodians, and financial market infrastructure providers

• Ability to bridge technical and institutional worlds — comfortable engaging blockchain engineers on token architecture and asset managers on product structure in the same conversation
