Responsibilities
Institutional & Government Business Development:

Own and grow a pipeline of high-impact partnerships across banks, asset managers, brokerages, exchanges, custodians, stablecoin/settlement partners, and fintechs.

Build relationships with relevant government entities, policy groups, and regulators (e.g., MAS, SFC, HKMA and industry working groups), and support participation in consultations, sandboxes, and pilot programs.

Identify and shape market opportunities in Hong Kong and Singapore, with expansion potential across broader APAC.
RWA Strategy & Execution

Drive go-to-market initiatives for RWA tokenization use cases such as tokenized funds, bonds/treasuries, private credit, structured products, commodities, carbon credits, and other regulated instruments.

Work with product, engineering, and legal/compliance teams to define partnership requirements (custody, KYC/AML, whitelisting, transfer restrictions, disclosure, reporting, etc.).

Structure partnerships that align with regulatory constraints and institutional operating models (risk, controls, procurement, vendor management).
Deal Ownership & Partner Management

Lead end-to-end deal cycles: sourcing -> qualification -> solutioning -> commercial negotiation -> contracting -> launch -> expansion.

Create clear business cases, ROI models, and joint execution plans with partners.

Maintain strong internal alignment with cross-functional stakeholders (product, legal, compliance, marketing, finance) to ensure smooth delivery.
Market Presence & Thought Leadership:

Represent BNB Chain at institutional forums, conferences, and industry groups.

Produce and deliver sharp messaging for institutional audiences: benefits, risks, control frameworks, and compliance posture.
Requirements
-
5+ years in Business Development / Partnerships / Strategic Alliances with demonstrated experience working with institutional clients (e.g., banks, asset managers, brokerages, exchanges, custodians, payment/settlement providers) and government / policy stakeholders.

Strong understanding of crypto regulations and compliance requirements relevant to institutional adoption, including concepts such as licensing/permitted activities, AML/CFT expectations, custody standards, and market conduct.

Practical familiarity with RWA tokenization and institutional workflows: issuance, custody, settlement, on-chain compliance controls, and the roles of administrators/transfer agents/oracles (as applicable).

Proven ability to close complex, multi-stakeholder deals with long sales cycles; comfortable negotiating commercial and legal terms.

Excellent executive communication skills (written + verbal); able to engage credibly with C-level leaders and public-sector stakeholders.

Based in Hong Kong or Singapore, with willingness to travel regionally as needed.

Existing network across MAS/SFC/HKMA ecosystems, financial institutions, and regulated fintechs.

Experience launching programs through regulatory sandboxes, innovation hubs, or public-private initiatives.

Understanding of DeFi primitives and smart contract risk concepts (audits, permissions, governance, key management).

Background in capital markets, securities, structured products, custody, or payments.

Language skills: English (required); Mandarin/Cantonese (highly beneficial for Hong Kong); other APAC languages a plus.
